Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

There's something universally comforting about a warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie, fresh out of the oven. Whether you're a seasoned baker or a cookie connoisseur, this timeless dessert is sure to bring a smile to your face.

Unfortunately, store-bought cookies are rarely gluten-free. But fear not! With this recipe, you can easily bake your own delicious gluten-free chocolate chip cookies.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:


  • 1/2 cup (113g) vegan or dairy butter, at room temperature (1 stick = 1/2 cup)
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100g) packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 heaping cup (160g) gluten-free flour of your choice (almond flour, oat flour, or coconut flour)
  • 1 cup (175g) chocolate chips of your choice

Instructions:


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and egg, and mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the gluten-free baking mix, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
